FAA Wildlife Strike Database Integration
Request DemoFeature Information
For over two decades, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) have conducted a concerted effort to collect accurate data on wildlife strikes to better understand the scope and severity of these issues. As a result, the FAA put together the Wildlife Strike Database. The FAA Wildlife Strike Database provides a scientific foundation for management programs to mitigate the risk of wildlife strikes. The FAA allows the general public and relevant organizations to easily submit strike reports in a consistent format through their website or through integration with the Wildlife Strike Database.
ProDIGIQ’s Wildlife Module is currently integrated with the FAA’s Wildlife Strike Database and provides the ability to automatically disseminate wildlife data to the FAA. Through this seamless integration, the Module provides a streamlined wildlife reporting process that eliminates duplication of efforts by automatically submitting strike data to the FAA and retrieving its strike report number. This two-way integration also allows the user to update and retrieve strike information in the FAA Wildlife Database within the Module itself.
- Automatically send submitted Strike Reports to FAA Wildlife Strike Database
- Update and retrieve strike data from the FAA Wildlife Strike Database through the Module
